Features
· Two lightweight, inflexible metal struts, one horizontal and one vertical, are joined to form a plus sign (hyperextension frame) and include slots for pad adjustment.
· Semi-rigid plastic splints with two lateral pads, one sternal pad, and one pelvic pad (made of non-absorbent foam) are to be adjusted (by screws) over the hyper-extension frame for a pleasant and appropriate body contact fit.
· A sturdy strap that is fastened to one of the horizontal bar of the hyperextension frame's lateral pads must be secured to the other lateral pad using a velcro closure that reverse locks.
· Thoraco-lumbar back support is provided with a semi-rigid plastic splint that is padded with non-absorbent foam.
